Pedestrian killed in crash near High Wycombe

A man in his 60s has died after being hit by a car in Buckinghamshire.

The pedestrian was struck by an Audi A2 on Boundary Road, Loudwater, near High Wycombe, at about 19:45 BST on Saturday.

He was treated at the scene and later taken to hospital but died of his injuries. The driver of the vehicle is assisting police with their inquiries.

The victim's family has been informed, but he is yet to be formally identified.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Thames Valley Police.
