A further arrest has been made by detectives investigating the murder and robbery of a man at his home in Bedfordshire.

Sharif Demirsay, 65, died at his house in Vineyard Way, Kempston, on 14 May.

A 17-year-old boy was detained in Hartwell Drive earlier on suspicion of conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary at Mr Demirsay's house.

Four other teenagers have already been charged with murder and will stand trial in February at Luton Crown Court.

Courtney Glynn, 19, and three others, two aged 17 and a 15-year-old, who cannot be named, were remanded in custody in October .

Officers said that while people may have assumed they had finished their inquiries, evidence was still being followed up.

Det Ch Insp Tim Redfearn said: "We know there are still, even now, people who haven't told us everything they know.

"I would really rather those people came and knocked on our door and talked to us before we knock on their door."
