Thomas Ward: Woman charged in connection with caravan murder

A woman has been charged in connection with the murder of a man who died five days after becoming a father.

Thomas Ward, 21, was shot last April outside the caravan in Stevenage he shared with his wife and daughter.

Joleen Josie Ward, 21, of Hickman Road in Chadwell Heath, has been charged with assisting an offender and is due at Luton Crown Court on 11 February.

John Boy Ward, of Clarkson Court, Hatfield, is wanted on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.

Ms Ward was remanded in custody after appearing at Hatfield Remand Court, Hertfordshire Police said.
