Man held after dog kills terrier in Stevenage

A man has been arrested after his dog allegedly bit a woman and killed another dog in Stevenage.

The alleged attack happened in Kimbolton Crescent at about 10:20 GMT on Tuesday.

A Yorkshire terrier died and a woman was bitten, police said. She does not have life-threatening injuries.

A man, 34, was held on suspicion of having a dog dangerously out of control in a public place. He has been bailed and the dog was detained by police.
