A man stabbed to death in Hertfordshire was a "humble" charity worker with a "naturally caring nature", his family has said.

Scott Stone, 26, from Welwyn Garden City, died from a stab wound at Guinness House, Little Hardings, at about 18:35 GMT on Sunday.

He had an 18-month-old daughter with his partner and was a keen rugby fan.

Paul Dillon, 52, from Little Hardings, has been charged with Mr Stone's murder and remains in custody.

Mr Stone had a twin brother and another brother who would all "remember him fondly", his mother Lesley said.

His girlfriend Rachel said he had "doted" on their daughter, Ebony.

Mr Stone worked for St Mungo's, a charity which supports homeless people.

His manager described him as a "humble and down-to-earth person... who was incredibly open-minded and accepted people as they were without judgement".
