Adam Stokes charged with manslaughter of baby daughter

A man has been charged with the manslaughter of his nine-week-old daughter, police said.

Adam Stokes, 32, from Runfold, Luton, is accused of killing Scarlett Stokes-Craig, who died at London's Great Ormond Street Hospital from a head injury on 24 January.

She had been admitted to Luton and Dunstable Hospital on 14 January.

Mr Stokes has been released on bail and will appear before magistrates in Luton in May.
