Three people who were in a helicopter when it crashed into a field in Bedfordshire have escaped unhurt.

The aircraft came down near Aspley Guise at about 11:00 GMT on Wednesday. The pilot and two passengers were en route to a funeral in Sussex.

Police said the pilot was "unable to control the tail of the helicopter", causing its "runners" to dig into the field and end up on its roof.

The three people were able to continue their journey by road.
