Mark Altabas murder inquiry: Third person charged with murder

A third person has been charged with the murder of a man who was found stabbed in a street in Stevenage.

Mark Altabas, 47, was discovered by police on Angle Ways at 04:20 BST on 21 April. He died later at Lister Hospital.

Destao Pedro, 18, of Forest Road in Walthamstow has been charged with killing him and he is due at Hatfield Remand Court.

Two other people have already been charged with murder.

Robert Crook, 57, and Katie Holmes, 43, both of Long Leaves in Stevenage, appeared at Hatfield Remand Court on Saturday and they are due to re-appear at St Albans Crown Court later.

Two other men, aged 35 and 49 were released on bail by Hertfordshire Police last week.
