Updates on this story and others from Hertfordshire

Hertfordshire Police said one man sustained a gunshot wound to his shoulder and another had a head injury.

A third man, with what was believed to be a stab wound to the abdomen, has been released from hospital.

The road is expected to remain closed for several hours while investigations continue.

Parmiters School has announced it will be closed as a result of the road closure and St Michael's Catholic High School and College is only open to pupils who have exams.

Those attending West Herts Crematorium will be able to gain access but should allow more time for their journey, the force said.

Det Insp Justine Jenkins, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire major crime unit, said: "At this stage it is believed to be an isolated incident between parties known to each other, who were attending a private party."
