Man stabbed in abdomen in Berkshire attack

A man has undergone surgery after being stabbed in the abdomen in an attack in Berkshire.

Police were called to the incident in Garston Crescent, Calcot, on Tuesday evening at about 2100 BST.

The victim was taken to hospital and underwent treatment. He is currently in a stable condition.

Police are trying to trace three men seen in the area. They are all black or Asian, in their early 20s, slim and about 5ft 8ins to 5ft 10ins.

The first was wearing black jeans and a hooded top with a pattern on it.

The second had corn-rowed hair and was wearing a black hooded top and black trousers, while the third was also wearing a black hooded top and black bottoms.
