Arrests after police witness 'drug deal' in Berkshire

Three men have been arrested after unwittingly carrying a suspected drug deal in front of police officers.

The men were followed and got into two cars in the Nightingale Road area of Woodley in Berkshire last Thursday.

One of the vehicles was stopped and 20 wraps of suspected Class A drugs were found and two men arrested.

The other vehicle drove away from police but was stopped 15 minutes later and the third man arrested. All three were released on bail.

The first two men arrested were a 47-year-old from Earley and a 39-year-old man from Sindlesham.

The third was a 31-year-old man from Woodley.

Both vehicles were recovered and house searches were also carried out.
