Detectives investigating the murder of a 23-year-old Berkshire man have released a second image of a man who shared a house with the victim.

Opinderpal Singh Randhawa died after being stabbed in the stomach in Elliman Avenue, Slough, on 28 December.

Kanwarjeet Singh Batth, 24, has not been seen since and police believe he could have been wearing a hat and had a beard at the time.

Police said there were following a number of inquiries.

Det Supt Rob Mason, who is leading the investigation, said Mr Batth had not been in contact with his family since.

"I'm hoping that this latest image will bring in new information or indeed prompt Kanwarjeet himself to contact us," he added.

"Kanwarjeet has not been seen since Mr Randhawa's death when he was found inside his home address in Elliman Avenue with injuries to his abdomen."

A post-mortem examination carried out on 29 December revealed that Mr Randhawa died from a single puncture wound to his stomach.
