Three charged over Wokingham taxi shooting

Three men have been charged with conspiracy to murder after the shooting of a taxi driver in Berkshire in September.

The 40-year-old was shot three times as he returned home in Lower Earley, Wokingham, on 27 September at 2320 BST. He made a full recovery.

The three men, aged between 30 and 35, and all from Coventry, appeared before magistrates in Slough on Saturday.

They have been remanded in custody to appear at Reading Crown Court.

Thames Valley Police arrested six people last week in connection with the shooting.

Two, aged 26 and 34, have been bailed until 27 April. A 27-year-old man has been released without charge.
