Man seriously injured in Berkshire attack

A 38-year-old man suffered serious head and facial injuries during an attack in Wokingham.

The victim is in hospital where his condition is described as serious but stable, following the assault in Station Road, early on Saturday.

Two other men, aged 25 and 28, also suffered facial injuries in the attack for which they received treatment at the Royal Berkshire Hospital.

Police believe the assault was committed by three men.

Anyone with information about the attack is asked to contact Thames Valley Police.
