Five Reading suspects charged after drugs raids

Five more men have been charged with drugs offences following raids in Berkshire.

Thames Valley Police officers searched 16 properties in the Orts Road area of Reading on Tuesday.

The force said the five men, aged between 21 and 45, were arrested on Wednesday and charged with conspiracy to supply class B drugs.

They are due to appear before Reading magistrates. Ten other men already face charges in connection with the raids.

One 40-year-old man was arrested on Thursday and remains in police custody.

Seven other people, six men and a woman, have been released on bail. Another man was released without charge.
