Stones thrown off bridge at cars on the M4 at Slough

A group of teenagers seen throwing stones at cars from a bridge over the M4 in Berkshire is being sought by police.

Shortly before 1900 BST on Sunday drivers spotted two or three people on the bridge near to junction seven at Slough West throwing items at vehicles.

At least one car was directly hit, causing damage, Thames Valley Police said.

They have appealed for witnesses to contact them.

Det Con Liam Butler said: "Throwing debris at or into the path of fast moving vehicles is extremely dangerous and those responsible need to consider how easily someone could have been seriously injured or even killed."
