Newbury forklift truck death man is named

A forklift truck driver who was killed when his truck overturned in Berkshire has been named.

Mark Williams, 41, from Nuneham Courtenay, Oxfordshire, died in Newbury town centre on Wednesday.

Thames Valley Police officers were called to the Costain development, near Northbrook Street, at 09:10 BST. The road was closed for several hours.

Mr Williams was pronounced dead at the scene. An inquest was opened earlier at Newbury Coroner's Court.
