Residents evacuated after 'arson' in Slough flats
Residents of a block of flats in Berkshire had to be evacuated after a suspected arson attack on one of the properties.
Crews were called to the block of 25 flats in Slough's High Street in the early hours of Sunday.
Thames Valley Police said an initial investigation indicated that the fire, in an empty property, had been started deliberately.
No one was injured in the blaze. Police are appealing for information.
Det Sgt Emma Brown of Thames Valley Police said: "This fire could have had serious consequences when you consider the time of the morning it was started and its close proximity to occupied flats."
