Man kicked in the head in Slough street robbery

A 64-year-old man was kicked and punched to his body and head during a street robbery in Berkshire.

The victim had parked in front of the NatWest Bank on Buckingham Avenue, Slough, on the Slough Trading Estate, when a BMW car stopped behind him.

The passenger got out of the BMW and attacked the victim before stealing his laptop bag, containing just personal possessions such as family photographs.

He suffered bruising to his forehead and a swollen nose, police said.

The victim required hospital treatment after the attack, but has since been discharged, police said.
