Bracknell's Binfield school remains shut over staff bug

A Berkshire primary school will remain closed on Thursday as the cause of a sickness bug is investigated.

Binfield CE Primary School in Bracknell has been closed for three days after half of its staff became ill.

The Health Protection Agency said early investigations suggested the outbreak was a viral illness.

About 400 pupils had been due to start term on Monday. The school said it would reopen when enough staff had resumed their normal duties.

About 25 staff have been affected.
