Adobe European HQ opens in Maidenhead

American computer software company Adobe has opened its European headquarters in Maidenhead on Monday.

It is based at Market House in the town centre where about 300 new jobs have been created.

David Burbage, leader of the Conservative-run Windsor and Maidenhead Royal Borough Council, called the move "a positive signal".

"Our town is growing in reputation as a great place for companies to be," he added.

Adobe is the digital company behind software such as Photoshop, Acrobat and Flash Player.
