Slough stab victim walks into hospital
A man who walked into a Slough hospital with life-threatening stab injuries is now in a stable condition.
Thames Valley Police were called to Wexham Park Hospital on Sunday morning where the man in his 20s was treated for three stomach wounds.
He was stabbed outside a supermarket in Furnival Avenue.
Det Sgt Arshad Mohmood said: "We believe the victim and the suspect are known to one another and we are doing all we can to catch those responsible."
He added: "If the victim had not had gone to hospital when he did and received such swift attention from the medical staff there, he could have lost his life due to the injury he sustained.
"We are appealing for anyone who has information but has not contacted us yet to do so immediately.
"In particular, we have been informed that a woman was stood nearby who may have crucial information to assist our investigation. We would urge her to come forward immediately."
