Thieves steal 125 sheep from Lambourn farm

Police are appealing for information after thieves stole 125 rare sheep from a farm in West Berkshire.

The flock of Speckled Face, Scottish Half Blood and Suffolk Cross were stolen from Foxbury Farm, in Lambourn, the only place which breeds these types of sheep in the area.

The theft took place overnight between 2 October and 3 October.

PC Richard Fagan said that if anyone had seen a suspicious vehicle that night they should contact police.

The officer, who works at Newbury Police Station, said: "I am also appealing for anyone who had noticed someone who has acquired a large number of sheep, or if they have been offered any for sale, to contact police."
