Man stabbed in Slough robbery

A man has been stabbed in a robbery in Slough.

Police said he was involved in an altercation with a man and woman outside Langley College on Station Road about 20:30 BST on Wednesday.

The 51-year-old's rucksack was stolen in the attack, in which he was stabbed in the leg and back and slashed across the face.

He was treated at Wexham Park Hospital. Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses.

The male offender involved is described as white, very stocky and muscular, between 6ft and 6ft 2ins and between 18-30 years old, with short light brown hair. He was wearing a grey tracksuit with white stripes on the arm.

The woman is described as white, about 5ft, petite, with light-coloured hair. She was wearing a hip-length coat which was either fur or had fur around the hood.

Det Sgt Lisa Everard said: "The matter is being treated as a robbery and I would urge anyone who witnessed the incident or recognises the description of the offenders to contact me so we can get to the bottom of exactly what happened."
