Strangled Reading woman: Man charged with murder

A man has been charged with the murder of a 38-year-old woman who was found strangled in a house in Reading.

Sandra Maralhas was found after a man walked into Reading police station and told officers her body was at an address in Coronation Square.

Louis Marrafa, 46, was arrested on Friday afternoon and police have charged him with Ms Maralhas's murder.

Mr Marrafa, of Coronation Square, is due to appear at Reading Magistrates' Court on Monday.
