Heroin worth £500,000 seized in Slough car park

Heroin with an estimated street value of £500,000 has been seized in a car park in Berkshire.

Officers found 2kg of the drug in the car park of a Harvester restaurant on the A4 at Langley, just off the M4.

Two men have been charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs and will appear at Reading Crown Court on 9 December.

Thames Valley Police said a third man was arrested and released on bail while inquiries continue.

The arrests were made by officers from the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (Serocu) and the Serious Organised Crime Agency (Soca), working with Thames Valley Police.
