Man injured in Slough attack in critical condition

A man who suffered head injuries in an attack in Slough is in a critical condition in hospital, police said.

The victim, aged in his early 30s, was assaulted outside Slough Central Library in High Street at 02:30 GMT.

His two attackers are described as black and about 5ft 7in. One was aged in his mid-20s and had short dark hair.

A 34-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and remains in custody. Anyone with information is asked to contact Thames Valley Police.
