Nineteen charged after Berkshire drug raids

Nineteen people have been charged with drugs offences following a series of police raids in Berkshire.

Officers seized class A drugs and stolen property in searches of 23 homes in Thatcham and Abingdon, on Tuesday.

Those charged, aged between 18 and 63, are due to appear before Reading Magistrates' Court.

In total, 25 people were arrested. One man has been charged in connection with a burglary and five people suspected of drugs offences have been bailed.
