Herd of 14 cows stolen from farm near Reading

A herd of cows has been stolen by thieves who broke into a farm in west Berkshire, police have said.

Thieves broke into Holybrook Farm, in Burghfield, near Reading, then loaded 14 cows into a vehicle before driving off with them.

Thames Valley Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen suspicious activity near the farm, or saw the cows being loaded into a vehicle.

The cattle theft took place some time between 4 March and 8 March.
