Berkshire 19-year-old dies following fatal crash

A second teenager has died following a crash in Berkshire on 14 March.

The 19-year-old from Winnersh died in Oxford's John Radcliffe Hospital on Wednesday after a VW Golf collided with a Ford Transit van on the A329.

The 18-year-old Wokingham driver of the VW Golf also died at Reading's Royal Berkshire Hospital shortly after the crash.

The van driver, a 23-year-old man from Woosehill, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

His two passengers, a 24-year-old man from Hurst and a 23-year-old man from Woosehill, were also arrested on the same charge and bailed until 1 May.

The other two passengers in the VW Golf suffered minor injuries.
