Man found dying in Reading underpass

A passer-by found the 26-year-old man who has not been named but is said to be local, near the Hook and Tackle pub in the town centre on Monday.

An ambulance was called and he was taken to Royal Berkshire Hospital where he was declared dead.

Police said the death was being treated as unexplained but not suspicious. They want to speak to a man who tried to give him CPR.

He is described as white, in his mid 20s, with short hair and was wearing a dark top, and dark trousers.
