Easthampstead memorial service celebrates 25th anniversary

An annual open air memorial service in Berkshire has celebrated its 25th anniversary.

The service for family and friends of those who have been buried or cremated at Easthampstead Park Cemetery and Crematorium included prayers and hymns.

Music was also performed by members of the Salvation Army.

Mayor of the borough of Bracknell Forest, Councillor Jennie McCracken, described the service as "informal and spiritual".

She added: "The annual service is an important way for people to be able to remember their loved ones, giving bereaved families and friends the opportunity to celebrate the life of their loved one in an informal and spiritual way."
