Woman killed in M4 crash in Berkshire
A woman has been killed in a crash on the M4 in Berkshire.
Thames Valley Police said the accident involving a pedestrian, car and a lorry had happened on 23 October on the London-bound carriageway.
Kaja Lerum, 38, from Newbury, appeared to get out of her Mazda Coupe parked on the hard shoulder and was hit by a lorry. She died from multiple injuries.
The accident between junction 13 at Chieveley and junction 12 for Theale closed the M4 for nearly four hours.
An inquest into the medical director's death has been opened and adjourned at Berkshire Coroner's Court.
