Windsor bikers' festive toy run for children

Motorcyclists dressed up in festive outfits to ride through Berkshire to deliver toys to children.

Colin Raynor, mayor of Windsor and Maidenhead, led the third annual Forces Children's Trust toy run from Legoland to Windsor in the mayoral car.

The group delivered gifts to children of servicemen at Broom Farm.

The Forces Children's Trust helps young people whose father or mother has died, or has been badly injured, while serving in the armed forces.

Stuart Hookway, community warden and event organiser, said: "As an ex-serviceman I know only too well the impact on children who lose a parent in a conflict.

"I therefore felt it very appropriate to give something back to our local Army community, and organised this event."
