The family of a man who died after a suspected hit-and-run incident has said he had "a pure heart of gold".

Marc Williams, 22, died after being found by passers-by lying on a slip road in Berkshire.

Thames Valley Police say a car may have hit him on the southbound entry slip of the A404 at Cox Green shortly after 02:30 GMT on Saturday.

Mr Williams' parents said his death had left "an irreplaceable hole" in their lives.

In a statement they said: "Marc was the most gentle, loving son, brother and grandson... we will forever miss him. Sleep tight son, we love you."
