Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance resumes service
The Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance (TVACAA) has resumed its service following a technical failure.
The helicopter, which covers Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, was grounded in Ascot overnight on Friday after landing in a sports field.
A spokeswoman said there were concerns about the helicopter's main rotor blades.
However, following a thorough engineering inspection, the helicopter had been confirmed as operational.
No patients were onboard during the incident.
Emergency call outs in the area were dealt with by the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance while the helicopter was grounded.
