Kamran Maman killing: Man charged with murder

Kamran Maman Family described Kamran Maman as "very sociable and popular"

A man has been charged with murder following the death of a driver who died after apparently being dragged from his car and beaten.

Kamran Maman, 36, was attacked by a group of 12 men in Slough on Saturday.

Leon Baptiste, 23, of Hull Close, Cippenham, Slough, was remanded in custody to appear at Slough Magistrates' Court earlier.

Two men arrested on suspicion of murder have been released on bail, while six others remain in police custody.

Mr Maman's family released a tribute describing him as a "loving, dedicated, loyal father who loved his son more than anything in this world".

"His main aim in life was his 11-year-old son, to whom he committed his life. He was a son, brother, uncle and friend that will be deeply missed. He was so many things to so many people.

"Kamran was a very sociable and popular man and all who met him whether at work or play immediately befriended him."
