Boy's drowning in Slough accidental, inquest hears

A coroner has recorded a verdict of accidental death on a 12-year-old boy who died after jumping into a Berkshire river.

Hamse Mohamed Darman drowned in the Jubilee River in Slough on 30 July.

His body was pulled from the river near Wood Lane, Cippenham following a four-hour search. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The inquest at Windsor Guildhall heard the schoolboy, from Leacroft, Slough, died from drowning.
