Overturned lorry on A34 The lorry crashed at about 05:15 GMT

A driver has died when his lorry overturned on the main A34 route in Berkshire.

The man, aged in his 60s, died at the scene of the crash near Tot Hill services at about 05:15 GMT.

The northbound A34 has now reopened after being shut for several hours between the A343 junction for Newbury and the A4 Bath Road junction.

Southbound lanes were closed temporarily while the vehicle was recovered.
