Slough rape: Witness plea in hunt for rapists
A man seen in an off-licence before a gang rape was carried out in Slough may have valuable information, police said.
The girl was walking towards the High Street on Friday evening when she met the group and walked with one of them to woods near the Jubilee River.
Police said four of the other men arrived by car and she was then raped in the woods by several of the men.
The witness, thought to be Somali, was seen in the High Street shop where the girl and one of the men had been.
Det Insp Nicola Hurdley: "He may have information that could help our investigation and I would urge him to come forward and help us."
Thames Valley Police has confirmed a group of Asian men in their 20s were wanted in connection with the rape. The victim was also Asian.
Det Insp Hurdley called it a "very traumatic incident".
Uniformed officers are carrying out increased patrols in the area.
