Man denies Slough child abduction allegations

A man has denied abducting two children from Berkshire without appropriate consent in 1998.

Mohammad Choudhry, of Rotterdam in the Netherlands, entered a not guilty plea at Reading Crown Court on Friday to taking two children under 16 from Slough out of the UK.

The 57-year-old, who was extradited from the Netherlands to face the allegations, was arrested on 10 April.

A trial is due to take place at Reading Crown Court on 1 September.
