Hillersden murder victim Raheela Imran suffered neck wound

A woman found dead at a property in Slough had suffered a "fatal wound to the neck", a post-mortem examination has found.

Raheela Imran, 45, was found dead by paramedics at a residential address in Hillersden, on Monday.

A 44-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder remains in custody, after Reading magistrates granted police's request to hold him for longer.

Thames Valley Police said it was believed the pair knew each other.

Officers said the woman's family had been contacted and extra police patrols were being carried out reassure the public while investigations are carried out.
