Police are trying to trace a woman who went missing after she discharged herself from a Berkshire hospital.

Jennie Sorensen, from Wiltshire, was visiting family in the county when she was admitted to the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading on Sunday.

The 44-year-old was last in Craven Road, heading towards London Road in the town, shortly after midday.

She is described as "particularly vulnerable" and police say she may need urgent medical attention.

Earlier, Thames Valley Police tweeted to say she is believed to be in the Kent area.
