Post-mortem tests 'inconclusive' in Reading hotel death
A post-mortem examination on a man at the centre of a murder investigation has proved inconclusive.
A man in his 40s was found at the Elmhurst Hotel in Earley on Wednesday. He died at the scene.
Thames Valley Police thought the man had been a victim of a "targeted" attack and arrested two men on suspicion of murder.
Officers are waiting for toxicology reports on the dead man. The suspects, aged 28 and 38, remain in custody.
The force said a formal cause of death could take "a number of months" to establish.
