A woman was raped at a cemetery as she paid her respects to a relative.

Police said the woman was approached from behind by a man who knocked her to the ground, causing her a head injury.

After the assault, at about 18:30 BST on Monday, the woman drove to the entrance of Slough Cemetery and Crematorium to get help.

Detectives said the offender was slim and wore black clothing and a black cap with white markings.

Thames Valley Police said the victim and the attacker were not known to each other.

Two members of the public stopped to help the woman, who was taken to Wexham Park Hospital for treatment.
