Reading two-vehicle crash victim dies in hospital

A man has died after he was injured when two vehicles collided in Reading.

The 72-year-old pedestrian was taken to Oxford's John Radcliffe Hospital, where he died after the crash in Albert Road on Saturday.

Surrounding roads were closed while officers carried out investigations following the accident at the junction of Highmoor Road.

Thames Valley Police have issued and appeal for witnesses to the crash, which took place at about 10:30 BST.
