Three men charged over foiled raid at Windsor jewellers

Three men have been charged in connection with an alleged armed robbery thwarted by bystanders.

Three motorcycle riders were prevented from leaving the scene after a raid at Robert Gatward jewellers in Windsor on Thursday morning.

Reece Corr, 19, of Long Furlong Drive, Slough, is accused of one count of robbery, as is 25-year-old Laurence McLaughlin of Badger Close, Maidenhead.

Perry Eustace, 26, from Slough, has been charged with attempted robbery.

Mr Eustace, of Bath Road, is also accused of possessing a class B drug and having an offensive weapon.

All three men also face charges of wounding with intent to resist arrest. They are due to appear at Slough Magistrates' Court later.
