Motorist, 44, charged over Earley pedestrian crash death

A man has been charged after a pedestrian died in a crash in Berkshire.

The man was crossing Cemetery Junction in Earley, Reading, when he was hit by a car on 26 November 2016.

Joseph Wangige, of Courts Road, Reading, is accused of failing to stop or report a collision, not having an MOT and using a vehicle with equipment likely to cause danger or injury.

The 44-year-old will appear at Reading Magistrates' Court on 8 June.
