Man arrested after Yardley shop stabbing

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was stabbed in a shop.

Police said the man was injured in a store on Yardley Road in the Yardley area of Birmingham on 13 July.

His injuries are described as "life-changing" and he remains in hospital in a stable condition. A woman inside the shop also received a cut to her arm.

A 21-year-old from Yardley has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and wounding, police said.
