Guards pushed to ground during robbery in Solihull

Security guards delivering money for a cash machine were pushed to the ground in a robbery in the West Midlands.

Two men stole a cash box containing a large amount of money and keys to a van at Tile Cross Service Station, Cooks Lane, Solihull, on Monday morning.

One man was aged from 20 to 30, slim, 6ft and wore a green/black hooded top, black coat and gloves and a balaclava.

The other was 20 to 30, 5ft 10in and also wore dark clothes, possibly including a hooded top, and balaclava.

The security guards were approached at about 0555 GMT on Monday.
